How to whitelist and blacklist IP addresses in CSF

ConfigServer Firewall (CSF) allows you to manually whitelist and blacklist IP addresses on your VPS or Dedicated Servers firewall.  CSF is a software firewall that is managed through WHM.

How To Whitelist an IP in CSF

Whitelisting an IP will prevent it from being blocked from your server, so it should only be used on IP addresses that you want to allow to connect to your server.

  1. Log in to WHM on your server.
  2. Click on the  “ConfigServer Security & Firewall.” link on the left menu found under the Plugins section.
  3. Look for the “Quick Allow” option (green text field box). Enter the IP you wish to whitelist, then click the “Quick Allow” button.
