LetsEncrypt AutoSSL is fully supported and enabled on all of our Plus Web Hosting Plans.
At this time we do not offer automation for LetsEncrypt SSL Certificates on the Starter, Business or Premium shared web hosting plans. You can still use LetsEncrypt SSL however you would need to manually install and renew the certificate.
We do not provide any direct support for 3rd-party SSL certificates including LetsEncrypt. You are responsible for the setup, configuration, installation and renewal of LetsEncrypt SSL unless you’re on a ‘Plus’ web hosting plan.
What about Certbot?
Let’s Encrypt offers software called ‘Certbot’ which can be used to generate your own certificates. It is however not possible to run Certbot yourself on our shared servers without extensive knowledge of the WHM API. This software can usually only be run on your own computer, and it cannot auto-install certificates when run this way.
Because you have to run Certbot manually every couple months on your own computer, and then manually install the certificate it generates yourself, we cannot offer any kind of support for this method.
