This tutorial assumes you’ve already logged in to cPanel, and are starting on the home screen.
Now let’s learn how to delete a MySQL database.
Click the “MySQL Databases” icon found under the Databases section.
Locate the database name you want to delete, and click the “Delete Database” link next to it.
Then click “Delete Database” to confirm.
That’s it! The MySQL database has been deleted.
Important:
Once you delete a database it cannot be recovered. You should always backup your database just in case. You can backup a database by clicking the PHPMyAdmin icon in cPanel and then select your database on the left menu. Then click Export at the top and you can download a copy of the database.
