How to renew Domain Names

To renew domain names you have registered with HostUpon, you need to first login to the Client Area on our website.

Step 1 -Renew Domains

Click Domains in the top navigation menu and then click Renew Domains from the drop-down menu.

Step 2 – Add Domains To Cart

You’re now on the Domain Renewals page where you can see a list of all of your domain names.  Beside the Available Renewal Periods text you can select the number of years you wish to renew your domain name for (A).

You can click the Add To Cart button (B) to add the domain name to your shopping cart.  If you have multiple domains you want to renew then click the Add To Cart button under each domain.

When you’re ready to proceed to checkout click View Cart (C).

Step 3 – Review Your Order

On the Review & Checkout page you can see a summary of your order and then click Checkout to proceed.

Step 4 – Complete Your Order

Update any of your contact information if needed.  If you have a credit balance you can apply your credit to the order as shown in (A).

Select if you want to pay with Credit Card or PayPal (B).  If you select Credit Card you will be prompted to enter your card information on the page.  If you choose PayPal you will be redirected to the PayPal website to complete the order after you hit Complete Order (C).

Important:

If you selected ID Protection (WHOIS Privacy) when you first registered your domain name with us it will automatically be added to the domain renewal.  You will see the line item on your invoice.  Domain Privacy is billed annually at $9.95/year.  If you no longer wish to have ID Protection you will need to open a Billing Ticket.
