How to Check Revisions in SitePad

Learn how to view and restore previous versions of your website using SitePad’s revision history feature.

SitePad, the drag-and-drop website builder, automatically saves revisions of your pages as you make changes. This feature allows you to view, compare, or restore previous versions of your site in case you want to undo a change or revert to an earlier design.

Step-by-Step: How to Check Revisions in SitePad

1. Log in to SitePad

  • Access your cPanel control panel and click the SitePad icon.

2. Open the Page Editor

  • In the SitePad dashboard, go to Pages.

  • Click Edit on the page where you want to check revisions.

3. Access Revisions

  • Once in the editor, look for the Revisions icon in the top-right toolbar (it looks like a clock or history icon).

  • Click on it to view the list of saved revisions.

4. Browse Revisions

  • Revisions are listed by date and time, with the most recent at the top.

  • Click on any version to preview the changes made at that time.

5. Restore a Revision (Optional)

  • Once you are viewing the revision you want to restore, click the Update button in the top right corner.

  • Confirm the restoration when prompted. The page will revert to the selected version.

Important Notes

  • Revisions are only available for saved pages.

  • SitePad stores a limited number of revisions so it may not always contain your changes

  • Restoring a revision will overwrite your current content. Consider downloading a backup beforehand.
